homemade play dough
Tonight we eased the blow of Monday by making some homemade play dough. This is the play dough I grew up making with my mom, so making it with Sage was something I was really looking forward to. This play dough is the play dough that dreams are made of. I'm not kidding about that one. This is play dough that doesn't dry out, doesn't crack, doesn't get crunchy or crumbly. Plus, no chemicals or weird ingredients. I'm sold and then sold again.
Salt Play Dough
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 cup water
1 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
Heat until mixture sticks into a ball. Knead in food coloring.
See... Easy. Cheap. And infinity times better than the store bought stuff.
Only down side? Not gluten free. Good thing I wasn't the one trying to eat it ;)
